Terms and Conditions

Please read these Terms and Conditions ("Terms") carefully before using the weReady mobile application and website (the "Service").

By accessing or using the Service, you agree to be bound by these Terms.


Age Requirement

You must be at least 16 years old to use this Service.


Description of Service

weReady helps users organize outings, events, and gatherings with friends and family through planning, invitations, shared content, and coordination tools.

Our core application hosting uses Cloudflare infrastructure configured for European data handling for core service data. Some supporting providers used for authentication, analytics, messaging, or payments may process limited data internationally as described in our Privacy Policy.


Accounts

You are responsible for safeguarding your account credentials and for all activities conducted under your account. You must provide accurate information and keep your account details up to date.


User Content

You retain ownership of your content. By uploading or sharing content through the Service, you grant weReady a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free license to host, store, process, reproduce, adapt, and display that content solely as necessary to operate, secure, improve, and provide the Service to you and the participants you choose.

Content shared within a trip or outing is visible to the participants of that trip or outing. You are responsible for ensuring you have the rights and permissions needed to upload and share that content.


Acceptable Use

You agree not to misuse the Service, upload unlawful or infringing content, interfere with system integrity, attempt unauthorized access, or use weReady as a general-purpose cloud drive, archive, or backup service.

Your use of storage, uploads, and collaboration features is also subject to our Fair Use Policy.

Prohibited Content

You may not upload photos or other content containing:

  • Nudity, pornography, or sexually explicit content
  • Violence, gore, or graphic content
  • Weapons or threatening imagery
  • Hate speech, hate symbols, or extremist content
  • Illegal drug use or drug paraphernalia
  • Content that harasses, threatens, or demeans others

User Responsibilities

By using weReady, you agree to:

  • Only upload photos you have the right to share
  • Respect the privacy of others in your photos
  • Not attempt to circumvent technical or product limits
  • Not upload malware, spam, or automated bulk content
  • Report any inappropriate content or account misuse you encounter

Storage Limits and Data Retention

Storage limits

Free accounts may upload photos up to 5 MB per file and are limited to a lifetime total of 150 photos across all trips, with a maximum of 50 photos per individual trip. Pro subscribers may upload photos up to 50 MB per file with a limit of 1,000 photos per trip and no lifetime cap. Video uploads count as ten (10) photos against these limits on Free accounts; on Pro accounts videos count 1:1. Document uploads (tickets, bookings, travel papers) are a Pro-only feature.

Only images (JPEG, PNG, WebP, HEIC, HEIF, GIF, AVIF) and videos (MP4, QuickTime, WebM, M4V) may be uploaded to the photos feature. Uploads that exceed the applicable cap or contain disallowed content types are rejected and logged for security and billing integrity monitoring.

Automatic deletion of inactive trips

To manage our storage infrastructure responsibly, we automatically delete trips after a retention period measured from the trip's end date:

  • Free accounts: three (3) years after the trip end date;
  • Pro accounts: ten (10) years after the trip end date.

On deletion, all trip data is permanently removed from our systems, including photos, videos, chat messages, documents and attachments, shared expenses and settlements, activities, checklists, accommodation votes, and any other trip-related content. This action cannot be undone.

We will send a reminder email to the trip owner thirty (30) days before the scheduled deletion date. During that window, the owner may export photos via the in-app export feature or upgrade to Pro to extend the retention period. A Pro upgrade automatically extends every one of the user's existing trips to ten (10) years from their end date.


Subscriptions, Payments, and Billing

Premium subscriptions are billed in advance on a recurring basis.

Direct payments on weReady are processed by Stripe. We do not store full payment card details.

If we later offer purchases through Apple, Google, or another app marketplace, those purchases may be governed by that marketplace's billing and refund terms instead of this website policy.

Refunds and cancellation are governed by our Refund Policy. Nothing in these Terms limits any mandatory rights you may have under applicable consumer law.

Cancellation

You may cancel your subscription at any time. Premium features remain active until the end of the current billing period.


Intellectual Property

The Service and its original content (excluding user Content) remain the exclusive property of weReady.


Third-Party Services

The Service may rely on third-party providers for hosting, authentication, analytics, and payments. Your use of third-party services may also be subject to those providers' terms and privacy notices. weReady is not responsible for third-party services beyond our legal obligations.


Termination

We may suspend, restrict, or terminate your account if you violate these Terms, abuse the Service, exceed fair use limits, create security risk, or expose us or other users to legal or operational harm. You may delete your account at any time through the application, subject to our Privacy Policy and any legal retention obligations.

On account termination or deletion, all trips owned by the account — together with their photos, videos, documents, chat history, and related content — are permanently removed from our systems, subject to our Privacy Policy and any legal retention obligations.


Disclaimer

The Service is provided on an "AS IS" and "AS AVAILABLE" basis without warranties of any kind.


Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, weReady shall not be liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from use of the Service.


Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of Belgium, without prejudice to any mandatory consumer protections that apply in your country of residence. Any dispute will be submitted to the competent courts as determined under applicable law.


Changes

We may modify these Terms from time to time. If we make material changes, we will update the date above and may provide additional notice where appropriate. Continued use of the Service after the updated Terms take effect means you accept the revised Terms.
